GVSU International Relations alumnus Nerina Cevra (2001) is being honored by the GVSU College of Liberal Arts and Sciences as one part of 2012 CLAS Distinguished Alumni-in-Residence program.
Nerina is a human rights lawyer who works on advancing international legal and policy articulation of the rights of victims of armed violence. She currently works for the London-based NGO Action on Armed Violence.
